Description
The Kandertal Railway is a branch terminal line, which branches off from the Rhine Valley Line at Weil am Rhein/Basle and runs 13 km through the Kander Valley to Kandern. The line was built between 1889 and 1894 and was in service with passenger traffic until 1983. It has been a museum railway since 1986.
