Description

The resort town of Glatt (420–630 m) is situated in the Glatt Valley and has been a district of Sulz am Neckar since 1975. The historic village center lies in the floodplain of the river of the same name.

The heart of the village is the impressive moated castle complex, built by the Lords of Neuneck around 1513. Today, the castle houses the Farm Museum, the Castle Museum, the Nobility Museum, and the Glatt Castle Gallery. In addition, the Glatt Castle Cultural Center hosts concerts and theater performances throughout the year.

The minigolf course in the castle park offers a more lighthearted form of entertainment after all that culture.
