Description

Elzach enjoys a stunning scenic location in the upper Elz Valley and offers numerous sights and opportunities to explore nature—for instance, along the "Felsentour Oberprechtal" premium hiking trail or the "ZweiTälerSteig," a trail spanning over 100 km that encircles the entire valley.

The Elzach *Fasnet* (Carnival) features the "Schuttig", a fool figure known nationwide, and is rooted in ancient tradition. The Elzach "Narrenzunft" (carnival guild) is part of the "Viererbund," a group of guilds entirely dedicated to this carnival tradition.
