Description

Weisenbach is situated in the Murg Valley in the Northern Black Forest, between Forbach and Gernsbach, and stretches along the Murg River amidst wooded mountain slopes. The village landscape is characterized by half-timbered houses, the Catholic parish church of St. Wendelin, and the hillside locations typical of the Murg Valley. With the Gaisbach Valley and its hay huts, the "Weisenbacher Steig – left of the Murg" hiking trail, and several viewpoints, the municipality offers diverse opportunities to experience the nature and cultural landscape of the Murg Valley.
