Description
The municipality of Hasel is located in the southern Black Forest near the Swiss border, nestled between the Wiese and Wehra valleys. Strongly defined by nature tourism and geological features, the village offers numerous opportunities for hiking and excursions within a peaceful, natural setting.
A widely known natural monument is the Erdmannshöhle, one of Germany's oldest dripstone caves. It extends for over two kilometers, with a section of approximately 360 meters open to visitors. The cave houses one of Germany's largest and oldest stalagmites, standing over four meters tall and measuring more than two meters in thickness.
