Description
"Baden wine - spoiled by the sun!" - this slogan is not just a saying - the Baden region has one of the most hours of sunshine in Germany.
The Baden wine-growing region with the nine areas Tauberfranken, Badische Bergstraße, Kraichgau, Ortenau, Breisgau, Kaiserstuhl, Tuniberg, Markgräflerland and Lake Constance is the third largest in Germany.
The climate is particularly sunny and warm, thanks to the sheltered locations on the edge of the Black Forest and the Odenwald as well as the climatically favorable Upper Rhine Plain.
