Description
Dornhan is situated on a high plateau—known as the "Dornhaner Platte"—that offers expansive, far-reaching views over the valleys of the Heimbach, Glatt, and Neckar rivers. The outlying districts of Leinstetten and Bettenhausen, located in the Glatt Valley, and Busenweiler, in the Heimbach Valley, possess a distinct character of their own. Consequently, the geography surrounding Dornhan provides a diverse range of routes for hiking or cycling, leading through shaded valleys and across open, elevated plains.
